Secondly, I made an error in one of my recent posts. Yes, I am an idiot. I wrote that Gezak, ex-McIGN Vault staff, said that the EQ2 screenshots and videos were doctored. I AM WRONG. I'm the person that said he said that, where he never said that. Got it? Care? No. Damn. Basically though, upon rereading his write up with more sleep, and being bitch smote by Lark on the boards (not in the face! Not in the face!) I realize that my reasoning for him being dumb was totally off base. That's just how I translated what he said in the middle of the night.
Basically, what really went down was, well, everything else I said, but in regards to the screenshots/videos doctored, he was simply pointing out that the videos were scripted (which I assumed everybody knew) and that in his opinion the graphic engine 'had' indeed been toned down slightly for release. Not that they were doctoring the screenshots before hand, producing something that wasn't straight out of the engine.
My fault. Sorry Gezak. That said, the recap itself I stand by. The absurdity of being surprised, shocked, or offended by either SOEs actions or IGNs actions baffle me. I don't know what else to say.
Oh, lastly, I actually have my rss feed working now. Seriously. Hell, it's VALID dammit. For anybody who has ever checked it, they will realize this is an epic moment. It's only been valid like twice since I've had the site up. Now though, it will stay valid forever more (because I'm writing posts in notepad to avoid any improper symbols, plus I'm 'keepin it real' when I write in notepad. Screw you spell check!). That's about it.
